Environment Dress 2.0 is a wearable interface designed to measure environmental aggressiveness and explore how environmental conditions relate to our mood.

We inhabit environments shaped by multiple environmental conditions that are constantly changing. Ultraviolet radiation, temperature, atmospheric pressure, noise, the presence of certain gases, and airborne particles form part of an invisible landscape that our senses can only partially perceive.

Environment Dress 2.0 explores this imperceptible dimension of the environment through a wearable interface equipped with different environmental sensors. Conceived as a technological second skin, the piece accompanies the body and records the environmental conditions of each location in real time, expanding the perceptual capabilities of the person wearing it.

The measurements are geolocated and linked to the user's moods, which are recorded through a mobile application specifically developed for the project by the artists. The system makes it possible to correlate both sets of data and observe potential relationships between environmental conditions and the mood of the person wearing the interface.

These records are used to generate maps that overlay environmental data, location, and subjective perception. The city thus emerges as a changing territory that can be explored and experienced through information produced by our bodies and the environment.

Environment Dress 2.0 proposes an expanded form of perception in which body, technology, and environment operate as a connected system. The interface transforms data that is normally inaccessible to our senses into perceptible information, allowing us to explore how the conditions of the spaces we inhabit relate to our everyday experience.

The interface takes the form of a wearable structure that extends the body through a set of environmental sensors distributed around it. The body thus becomes a mobile unit of observation, capable of registering environmental conditions as it moves through space.

Environment Dress 2.0 functions as an interface between body, technology, and space: a technological second skin that temporarily expands our sensory capacities, making perceptible environmental variables that remain beyond the reach of our senses.
